The Chipley, Florida Police Department has investigated and arrested a 44-year-old Chipley man on charges of ‘obscene communication’, along with ‘seduction or solicitation of a child with a computer’.
On September 1, 2023, Kevin Pierce was arrested following a week-long investigation, using social media, following an alert from a parent that her child was receiving inappropriate text messages.
Ultimately, investigators used Facebook to further track the offender.
