Rita Carol Brown Miller, age 64, of Bonifay, Florida passed away September 1, 2023, at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonifay.
She was born September 9, 1958, in Marianna, Florida to the late Ander Lee Brown and Florine Corbitt Brown.
In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by two sisters, Katrina Stephens and Nelyne Andrews and husband Bob, her life partner and father of children, Thomas Charles Miller, and her feathered companion, “Bubba”-miniature macaw.
Rita is survived by one daughter, Jessi Collins and husband David of FL; two sons, Charles Anthony ‘Tony’ Miller of AL, and Jeffery Miller of NC; one sister, Sandra Parrish of FL; one brother, Grady Brown of FL; ten grandchildren, Alex Miller of ID, Chandler Miller of AL, Steven Carlyle of AL, Anthony Deckert of MS, Bryan Miller of TN, Cody Miller of TN, Myia Miller of TN, Maverick Collins of FL, Luci Collins of FL, and MJ Collins of FL; one great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 9, 2023, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
