Two men have been arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office after Investigators link them to a theft in the Vernon area.

Through investigative leads, Investigators recovered the sign and identified two suspects in the case, 27-year-old, Gregory Michael Singletary of Chipley and 55-year-old, Lester Steven Glenn.
Singletary was apprehended on August 30, 2023 and booked into the Washington County Jail on an unrelated charge, while Glenn remained at large.
A warrant was issued for Glenn and on Sunday, September 10th he was booked into the Washington County Jail.
Both face charges of Larceny, grand theft $5000 less than $10,000.
