Talbert (T.D.) Pettis, 88 of Wausau, Fl. Went home to be with the Lord on September 13, 2023 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida.
T.D. was born on November 27, 1934 in Wausau, Fl. He was a member of Wausau Assembly of God Church in Wausau, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
He was married to the love of his life, Edna for 67 years in October. Their love was “ A love at first sight.” She was 12 years old when he firstmet her. He told his brother then, I’m gonna marry that girl.
He is survived by his wife Edna, two daughters Naomi Guy (James) and Dixie Kolmetz (Charles); seven grandchildren Tara Dockery (George), Amanda Worthington (Reggie), Brittany Whitfield (Matt), Toni Harrison (Al), Wendi Parmenter (Billy), Doyle Gay (Heather), Angeleigh Anderson (Austin), 10 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

A celebration of life will be held Friday September 15, 2023 with 10AM visitation and service at 11AM at Wausau Assembly of God Church in Wausau, FL with Rev. Dallas Pettis, Rev. Danny Burns, and Rev. Danny Jackson officiating. Obert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
