Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Sabrina Borgos of Orlando and Zaria Johnson of St. Petersburg for Drugs on September 24, 2023

On September 24, 2023, deputies and investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office responded to Holmes Correctional Institution (HCI) to assist the Office of the Inspector General in two separate cases of individuals leaving suspected narcotics on the side of Thomas Dr. near HCI.

Upon arrival, HCSO personnel learned that an inspector had observed two individuals separately drop off packages in the wood line near the prison then continue on to visitation.

Sabrina Borgos of Orlando, FL, was seen dropping off a bag determined to contain 21 grams of marijuana.

She was transported to the Holmes County Jail and is charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription including marijuana.

Similarly, Zaria Johnson of St. Petersburg, FL, was seen placing a bag in the wood line. The bag was later confirmed to contain 53 grams of fentanyl.

She was arrested and taken to the Holmes County Jail, where she was found to be hiding several grams of marijuana in her body cavity.

Johnson faces a charge of trafficking fentanyl more than 28 grams and introduction of contraband in a correction facility.
