Otis ‘Reb’ Randall Martin, age 92, of Bonifay, Florida passed away November 1, 2023, at his home.
He was born October 29, 1931, in Bedford, Virginia to the late Ben Martin and Eva Updike Martin.
In addition to his parents, Reb was preceded in death by his wife, Frances T. Martin.
Reb is leaving a legacy of service and kindness as a dedicated United States Air Force retired veteran of 28 years.
His warm spirit shone brightly through his 20 plus years of welcoming and aiding shoppers at Walmart, leaving an indelible mark on all he encountered. Reb’s selflessness and commitment will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Martin is survived by two sons, Joe Martin and wife Penny of Bonifay, Florida and Ben Martin of Bonifay, Florida; two grandchildren, Frances Hawkins and husband Robert and Kalen Martin; one great-grandchild, Rhett Hawkins; one sister, Leona St. Clair; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow with military honors in the Bonifay Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM Tuesday at Peel Funeral Home.
