On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, Vernon, Florida High School head football coach Loren Tillman and Chipley, Florida head football coach Marcus Buchanan met in a face-off in Studio B, the production facility on the campus of Florida Panhandle Technical College in preparation for Friday night’s clash of the rival teams in season playoffs, as seen in these photos by FPTC Photography students.
The event was all in good fun and principals from Chipley High (Alicia Clemmons) and Vernon High (Ellen Grainger) also attended, along with Superintendent of School for Washington County Joe Taylor.
