A 26-year-old Panama City, Florida man sustained critical injuries in a single vehicle accident on Highway 231 at Caddy Road Thursday at 3:10 a.m. in Jackson County.
The Panama City man’s truck was traveling southbound on U.S Highway 231 when it left the roadway and went onto the shoulder while negotiating a curve.
It struck a speed limit sign and began to rotate before crossing over all lanes of 231 and striking a tree located east of 231 in a wooded area.
