On Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in the mid-day hours, Officers with the Marianna Police Department received a call to the 4200 block of Lafayette Street, in reference to a male subject passed out behind a building.
Upon Officers arrival, they spoke with the male subject, Nadery, who stated to officers he was walking and got tired.
Officers conducted a consensual pat down of Nadery’s person. Located in Nadery’s right front pocket was a small clear plastic baggie containing 3.1 grams of a crystallize substance.
Officers field tested the crystalline substance which yielded a presumptively positive test for Methamphetamine.
Nadery was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility without incident. Nadery was charged with the following: Possession of a schedule II-controlled substance – methamphetamine.
