Amanda Collins, age 51, of Ponce de Leon, Florida passed away November 24, 2023, at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in Ocala, Florida.
She was born September 8, 1972, in Bonifay, Florida. Amanda was preceded in death by her father Warren Stone, her mother and step-father, Shirley Ann Powell Leavins and Lamar Leavins, and one brother, James Leavins.
Amanda is survived by three children, Ashtian Bellais of Wiggins, MS, Josie Collins of Chipley, FL, and Justin Messer of Argyle, FL; six grandchildren, Eli, Paisley, Joshua, Ford, Lucas, and Warren; one sister, Rebecca Day Edgar and husband Jerry of Bell, FL; two uncles, Jackie Powell and Bill Powell both of Ponce de Leon, FL; two special cousins, Lori Yate and Nikki Powell along with several other cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 4, 2023, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Campground Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Peel Funeral Home.
