Timothy Scott Mayberry, age 65, of Ponce de Leon, Florida passed away November 26, 2023, in Ponce de Leon.
He was born August 4, 1958, to the late Jewell Alvin Leonard Mayberry and Deloris Jean Miller Mayberry.
Tim was a believer in the Lord and a talented country and Christian songwriter and singer.
His love for fishing was only surpassed by his joy in connecting with people; he never met a stranger. Tim’s life was a melody of faith, family, and a genuine love for children.
May his legacy of music live on in our hearts.
Mr. Mayberry is survived by one brother, Randy Paul Mayberry of Westville, FL; nephews and niece, Greg Mayberry, Christopher Mayberry, and Katherine Harris and husband Rick; great-nephews and great-nieces, Harmony, Kadence, Dalton, Dylan, Dustin, and Chris; his stepmother, Josephine Mayberry of Huntington, WV; one stepsister, Robin; special friends, Shannon and Tammy Bowers of Ponce de Leon, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 30, 2023, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Westville Community Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral from 9 to 10 AM Thursday.
