The Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office narcotics division arrest two individuals in an ongoing investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics in Holmes County.
Candi Winschel and Chris Mayberry, both from Defuniak Springs, traveled to a location in Ponce de Leon where Winschel sold methamphetamine in an undercover operation.
Once the transaction was concluded deputies made contact with Winschel and Mayberry where they were detained. A search of Winschel was conducted and revealed more methamphetamine on her person.
A search of Mayberry also revealed him to be in possession of meth and ecstasy.
Both were arrested and booked into the Holmes County Jail. Winschel faces charges of possession and sale of methamphetamine. Mayberry faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of ecstasy.
