On Wednesday, Nov. 22, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Investigators, who are also Task Force Officers with the United States Marshal Service, received information from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office that a suspect, Darryl Jerome Walker, who was wanted for murder, was possibly in Jackson County.
On Friday, Nov. 24, Investigators located Walker and the vehicle he was known to be driving at an address inside Marianna city limits. Walker was taken into custody without incident and will be extradited back to Escambia County to face charges.
