Calhoun County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests James Paul Tucker for Methamphetamine, Warrants on December 8, 2023

On Friday, December 8, 2023, at approximately 1842 hours, Deputy Ayers was conducting routine patrol in the Mossy Pond Community.
 
During this time, Deputy Ayers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation.
 
After the driver gave a false name, it was discovered that his actual name was James Paul Tucker. Tucker had an active arrest warrant out of Jackson County, Florida. Tucker’s license was also revoked since 2004.
 
During a search of the vehicle, Deputy Ayers and Deputy Dew located a bag containing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
 
Deputy Ayers did find probable cause exists to charge James Paul Tucker with being in violation of the
following Florida State Statutes:
 
F.S.S. §893.13(6)(a) – Possession of Methamphetamine
F.S.S. §893.147(1) – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
F.S.S. §322.34(5) – DWLSR (HTO) Felony
F.S.S. §901.36(1) – Provide False Name to Law Enforcement
F.S.S. §901.04 – Out of County Warrant
