A vehicular accident in Holmes County, Florida claimed the life of a Bonifay woman on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
The accident occurred around 7PM near the intersection of Coursey Road and Spears Road, about 6 miles south of Sweet Gum Head, near the Alabama-Florida state line.
The report given by the Florida Highway Patrol specifies that a vehicle driven by a 28-year-old Westville, Florida man was travelling west on Coursey Road when he crossed the road into the east lane.
A second vehicle, driven east by a 26-year-old Bonifay, Florida woman, was impacted, and the driver was killed as a result of the crash.
The driver of the first vehicle and his passenger, a 27-year-old Westville, Florida woman, were listed with serious injuries.
Identities of the three victims have not yet been made public.
