Dorothy McHenry Stryker 88, of Cottondale, Florida went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2023, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama.
Dorothy was born on June 7, 1935, in Coy, Alabama to MacArthur McHenry and Mary Dorothy Zurga. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle and worked in retail. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: MacArthur and Mary Dorothy McHenry
She is survived by her husband of 44 years: Frederick Lee Stryker of Cottondale, FL; daughters: Diane Righteous of Chipley, FL, Gail Reinhardt of Pennsylvania, Susan Cooper of Alford, FL; brother: Tommy McHenry of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren: Amanda Acevedo, Justin Jackson, Dylan Cooper; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Service will be held 11 AM Friday, December 29, 2023, at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
