On December 29, 2023, the Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office narcotic investigators received information that a John Franklin, from Cottondale, was looking to purchase methamphetamine.
Investigators working in an undercover capacity met with Franklin at a location in Bonifay to make the transaction.
Once the transaction was made, Franklin was taken into custody and charged with purchase of methamphetamine.
