On December 30, 2023, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with no tag lights.
Contact was made with the driver, William Curry of Westville.
During the stop, K9 Highway conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive alert to the presence of illegal narcotics.
A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed a cigarette pack containing methamphetamine within reach of Curry.
William Curry was arrested and transported to the Holmes County Jail. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
