A Message from the Washington County, Florida Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Mike Maxwell

By | January 11, 2024

Welcome to 2024 and what a year this promises to be! Your Chamber has been working diligently on a year’s worth of events that promise to be enlightening, informative, and entertaining…stay tuned!

In an effort to make our monthly networking events more accessible to everyone, we have made changes in the scheduling whereby we will now offer Morning, Noon, and Evening opportunities throughout the year. This month, we will host the 3rd Thursday Luncheon on January 18 at Noon; our February 15 event will be a Business After Hours beginning at 5:30 PM; and on March 21, look for a brand new offering we call Eggs & Issues which will be a Breakfast with an educational component. Details to come but our hope is that this rotation of times will allow those who can’t make our luncheons able to join us for an evening or morning event. Let me know what you think!

SAVE THE DATE! for the Chamber’s Annual Banquet scheduled for Thursday, February 29 (Leap Day!) at The Berry Hill Gardens, 2270 Suggs Road in Chipley. This year’s Banquet is a Masquerade Gala where we invite our guests to wear masks for a Mysterious and Elegant Atmosphere and Unmask the Magic of Business Excellence! Doors open at 5 PM for Social Hour; Dinner at 6! The Annual Banquet is the Chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year and features Entertainment, Awards, 50/50 Raffle, and a Silent Auction. Our Keynote Speaker is Darrick D. McGhee, Sr., President & CEO, Strategic Inflection Point, LLC.
