Caitlyn Rose Chapman, age 26, of Bonifay, Florida passed away January 19, 2024 at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.
She was born July 10, 1997, in Panama City, Florida. Caitlyn was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Samuel Reed Grantham, paternal grandfather, Broward Lee Chapman, and paternal grandmother, Florence Shirlene Chapman.
Caitlyn is survived by her parents, Ray and Teresa Chapman; one daughter, Nylah Rose “Opossum” Chapman; her fiancé, Tyler Vandegrift; seven siblings, Shayla Rain Chapman, Joss’ee Ray Chapman, Moriah Reyanna Chapman, Thomas Jaxon Mycal Chapman, Jasmine Kadence HaiyLee Chapman, Connor Ray Chapman, and Cheresa Diane Carroll; maternal grandmother, Ruth Pope Sapp; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Winterville Assembly of God Church.
Interment will follow in the East Pittman Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at Winterville Assembly of God Church.
