Virginia Susan Stevenson, age 82, of Bonifay, Florida passed away January 17, 2024, at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab in Bonifay.
She was born March 17, 1941, in Covington County Alabama to the late Charlie B. Hudson and Nellie A Collier Hudson.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ballard and one brother, Billy Hudson.
Ms. Stevenson is survived by two sons, John Edward ‘Johnny’ Long and Michala of Bonifay, FL and William Bervie ‘Bert’ Long and Pam of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Ruby Long Gardner of Bonifay, FL; one brother, Hillory Hudson and wife Valerie of Bonifay, FL; eight grandchildren, Clint Long and Karen, Jarah Lyerly, Coty Long, Carley Long, Cassy Long and Paige, Cole Long, Rory Long, and Garrett Gardner; one great-grandchild, Peyton Lyerly; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2024 in the Bonifay Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
