On January 25, 2024, deputies from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) conducted a vehicle stop in Ponce de Leon.
The vehicle’s driver, Shawn Holloway, from DeFuniak Springs was subsequently arrested for driving while license suspended and resisting arrest without violence.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the passenger, Haley Scholl, from DeFuniak Springs had active warrants for selling fentanyl in Holmes County.
Ms. Scholl also was found to have marijuana and drug paraphernalia on her person. Scholl was taken into custody in connection with these warrants and other charges.
