Reiko Achiha Rudd, 92, of Cottondale, Florida went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2024 at Marianna Nursing and Rehab surrounded by her loving family.
Reiko was born on November 5, 1931, in Nagoya, Japan to Hanno Achiha and Masao Sage. Reiko was a member at Sapp Church in Cottondale, Florida. She was a good and faithful servant and despite any trials of life, her walk with the Lord never wavered. Ms. Reiko loved sewing, cooking, fishing and of course enjoying a fish fry of the days catch. She loved her family and will be sorely missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Homer Rudd
She is survived by her sons: Eddy Rudd (Portia) of Cottondale, FL, Teddy Rudd (Angela) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter: Rose Maloney (Michael) of Orlando, FL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Service will be held 11 AM Friday, February 16, 2024, at Sapp Holiness Church in Cottondale, Florida with Pastor Shane Obert officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
