Candace “Candi” Newsom Hinson, 47, of Bonifay, Florida, passed away surrounded by her family and friends on February 16, 2024.
Candace was born in Bonifay, Florida on October 8,1976 to Bo and Clara Newsom.
She attended Holmes County High School where upon graduation in 1994 she attended Wallace Community College.
She obtained an Associate of Nursing degree, and this culminated into her current employment with LHC group where her love and compassion for others radiated brightly.
Candace was preceded in death by her father Bo, sister Kim, and her beloved son Jacob Williams, and she is survived by her husband Travis Hinson, stepson Nicolas Hinson, and daughter Hannah Hinson.
She is also survived by her mother Clara Estes, stepfather Ray Estes, her siblings, Kathy Cooey (Todd), Chris Newsom, Kyle Newsom (Tracy) and nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist of Bonifay, FL on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 11:00 am.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service with Dr. Shelly Chandler officiating. Interment will be in the Bonifay Cemetery.
The funeral service will be live streamed on First Baptist Bonifay Channel on YouTube.
