Mary Catherine Whitaker, age 86, of Port St. Joe, Florida, passed away February 21, 2024, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.
She was born June 10, 1937, in Geneva County Alabama to the late Colbert Bradshaw and Claudia Everett Bradshaw.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Whitaker was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Donald Grayson Whitaker and one sister, Betty Francis Hardy.
Ms. Whitaker is survived by one son, Donald Dexter Whitaker of Port St. Joe, FL, two brothers, Johnny Frank Bradshaw and wife Mary Ann of Bonifay, FL and Colbert Joseph Bradshaw of Panama City Beach, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 24, 2024, in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Friday at Peel Funeral Home.
