Around 4PM on Friday, February 23, 2024, the Bonifay Fire-Rescue squad responded to assist Esto, Florida Fire Department with a residential structure fire on County Road 160.
A neighbor noticed smoke and immediately called 911 for help.
Firefighter Dillion Lee, Captain Jack Griffiths, and Assistant Chief Larry Cook arrived on scene first and assisted Esto Fire with fire attack.
Aggressive tactics prevented the main dwelling of the home from being further damaged by the fire, keeping the damage contained to the attached carport.
No injuries were associated with this call.
