- The slight risk is confined roughly northwest of a Cuthbert GA to Elba AL line, with a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 4) to the southeast.

Overview:
An area of low pressure will develop to our west and will slowly move east to northeast on Friday. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move in Friday night and then continue into early Saturday night. Damaging wind gusts are the main threat with a few tornadoes also possible. Heavy rain is likely with amounts varying between 1 and 2 inches, but there is the possibility for these amounts to at least double if a boundary sets up in our area.
