Raymond Louis Faure, 79 of Panama City, Florida Passes on March 13, 2024

Raymond Louis Faure, 79 of Panama City, Florida passed away of health complications on Wednesday March 13, 2024, in Panama City, Florida.
 
He was born in Passaic, New Jersey in 1945 to Parents Ruth B Purcell and Louis G Faure.
 
Ray grew up in Clifton, New Jersey and attended Clifton High School where he was actively involved in several sports programs, which later carried into his love of golf and the New York Yankees.
 
He loved to run and explore the outdoors, ride his many motorcycles and loved to restore antiques back to life.
 
Ray had an eventful 30-year career with Brinks Security Services in New York City. Following his retirement Ray loved to chauffeur his friends, family and guests throughout New York City and surrounding areas and developed hundreds of friendships along the way.
 
Ray never knew a stranger, and you became his friend from the moment you met him. He shared his warm personality and kind heart with everyone he met. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his family and was their greatest hero and supporter who devoted himself to his family.
 
He risked more than others thought safe, cared more than others thought wise and dreamed more than others thought practical and will be dearly missed by all.
 
Ray was preceded in death by his Mother Ruth B Purcell, Father Louis G Faure, Loving wife of 25 years Gloria Faure, Brothers William and George L Faure, and is survived by his sister Carol & Michael Grossman of Woodland Park, Colorado, and children Raymond & Margaret Faure of West Milford, New Jersey; Brian Faure of Clifton, New Jersey; Brenda Manfra and Scott Brandsma of Miramar Florida; and Benjamin & Bridget Faure of Panama City, Florida.
 
He is also survived by numerous grandchildren whom he truly adored including Kirsten, William and Joseph Faure, Lynette Faure, Nicolas and Joseph Manfra, and Corey and Janey Faure as well as numerous nephews, nieces and great-grandchildren. In addition to his children and grandchildren he loved Gloria’s family as his own including daughters Gina Menor of South Carolina, Julia Barbuto of New York, and Maria Boolukos of New York as well as their families.
