Walter Warren Tillis, age 77, of Caryville, Florida passed away April 11, 2024, at his home.
He was born July 11, 1946, in Vernon, Florida.
Walt was preceded in death by his father, Arson Tillis, his mother, Maebelle Perkins Tillis Little, and three siblings, William Tillis, Wesley ‘Bo’ Tillis, and Sharon Hall.
Mr. Tillis is survived by his wife, Donna Tillis; three children, Catrina Carroll and Edwin, Chirs Lewis and Sabrina, and Quin Lewis and Patrick; seven grandchildren, Amy Yates, Darus Steverson and Danielle, Matthew Carroll and Haley, Dalon Reynolds and Christina, Taylor Carroll and Abby, Cash Lewis, and Malaya Lewis; six great-grandchildren, Kylie, Rylee, Maken, Maddox, Bryndon, and Brock; seven siblings, Lyndol Tillis Davis, Irma Tillis Griffin, Faye Tillis Wooten and Wendell, James Tillis, Bobby Gene Tillis and Erline, Raymond Perkins and Patricia, and Jaclyn Newman; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024, at New Bethany Assembly of God Church.
Interment with military honors will follow in the New Bethany Assembly of God Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12 to 1 PM at New Bethany Assembly of God Church.
