On April 19, 2024, at approximately 2:30 am, Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call from a female requesting law enforcement.
The female advised dispatch that she was hiding in the bathroom and had been injured.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators responded to a residence on Pine Log Road. Upon arrival, law enforcement was able to speak to the caller and discovered a sex crime had been committed.
After an extensive investigation, 43 year old Joseph Michael LaBarron, was arrested and charged with Lewd & Lascivious Battery on a disabled person.
