On April 18, 2024, investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) conducted a routine traffic stop on Highway 90 at Banfill Ave.
The stop was initiated due to an expired tag on a black Trailblazer being driven by Jason Brown.
During the course of the stop, investigators observed Mr. Brown concealing a container commonly associated with illegal narcotics in his hand.
Upon requesting the container from Mr. Brown, it was found to contain methamphetamine.
As a result, Jason Brown was promptly placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
