Marianna, Florida Police Department Arrests Bradley Coy Johnson of Sneads, Florida for Possession of Methamphetamine on April 27

On April 27, 2024 in the early morning hours, officers with the Marianna Police Department were patrolling the area of South Street and Orange Street.
 
While approaching a closed business in the area, officers observed a red Dodge SUV suspiciously parked in the parking lot of a closed business.
 
Upon approaching the vehicle, officers located a white male sleeping in the driver’s seat with the vehicle’s engine running.
 
The male subject was woken up by loud verbal commands, and requested to exit from the vehicle. The subject was identified as Bradley Coy Johnson out of Sneads, Florida.
 
A few minutes later, a K-9 deputy from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene and conducted a free air sniff search around the outside of the vehicle with K-9 Grace.
 
The deputy confirmed that K-9 Grace alerted on the vehicle and a probable cause search was subsequently conducted. During the probable cause search, a black Reebok bag was located on the floorboard of the driver’s side. Inside the bag was; two glass pipes used to inhale narcotics, a “snuff spoon” used to ingest powdery substances, which all three items had visible residue of narcotic use.
 
A clear plastic baggie containing 3.0 grams of methamphetamine was found, and an orange in color prescription pill bottle with the label scratched off. The pill bottle contained 28 blue in color, oval shaped pills identified as Xanax.
 
Bradley was placed under arrest and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await First Appearance.
