On May 2, 2024, a Walton County Deputy, while working in mutual aid in Holmes County, initiated a traffic stop on an RV traveling along Hwy 81.
During the traffic stop the deputy detected of an odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the vehicle.
Upon further investigation, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, revealing a cache of illegal substances and drug paraphernalia, including THC wax, THC edibles, Ketamine, and drug paraphernalia.
As a result Alvie Haider and Stephanie Scull were both arrested and charged with possession of Ketamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Furthermore, during processing at the jail, a thorough search of Haider’s person revealed small plastic baggies containing Ketamine, leading to an additional charge of introduction to contraband.
