Carl Barry Wall, 79, of Lynn Haven, Florida, went peacefully to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 2, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Barry was born on May 4, 1944 in Bessemer, Alabama to Daniel Howard Wall and Sarah Eleanor Hinson Wall. Barry worked in law enforcement or a related field for over 40 years. He ended his career with the Florida Department of Transportation but his most endearing job was the 10 years he worked for the Florida Highway Patrol.
Barry was a kind, loving and charismatic man. He loved life and the people he chose to spend it with. His family was the light of his life; his wife, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all his extended family and friends. He left us with a legacy of love and commitment.
He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel Howard and Sarah Eleanor Wall, and brother, Daniel Howard Wall, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Rise’ Kirkland Wall of Lynn Haven, FL; daughter, Angala Cooper (William) of St. Augustine, FL; son, Carl Barry Wall, Jr. (Joanna) of Fleming Island, FL; brother, Austin David Wall (Sylvia) of Alexandria, AL; grandchildren, Kane Cooper (Ashley), Kaitlyn Cooper, and Cole Wall; great grandchildren, Kadence and Ashton Cooper. He was also blessed to have bonus grandchildren, Victoria Lee (Josh) and Shane Waters (Darby) and his loving neices and nephews.
Many thanks go to all who have attended to his needs over these last months; our nurses at DaVita Lynn Haven, our nursing care staff at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital, and our doctors.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
