On Friday, May 10, 2024, members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force including deputies from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office arrest 47-year-old DeWayne Wallace on outstanding felony warrants.
Wallace was wanted for domestic battery, battery by strangulation, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and attempted sexual battery.
The charges stem from an incident in Villa Tasso back in April where Wallace strangled, beat, and held a gun to the victims head and chest during a domestic dispute where he also tried to force himself on the victim.
Wallace was transported and booked into the Walton County Jail and is awaiting first appearance.
