A Pensacola, FL woman was arrested in Washington County on several felony charges to include smuggling contraband into a detention facility.
On May 18th, Washington County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Northwest Florida Reception Center to transport an arrestee following an investigation conducted by the prison inspector.
Emmreiana Marie Howard, 25, was allegedly attempting to smuggle contraband into the NWFL Reception Center while visiting an inmate.
Following the investigation, Howard was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail. During intake, detention deputies found Howard to be concealing additional illegal items on her person.
Howard was booked on the charges of introduction of contraband into a detention facility, introduction of contraband into a prison, three counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and trafficking methamphetamine.
