Carolyn Kersey, 66, went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2024 at her home in Cottondale, Florida.
Carolyn Kersey was born in Japan on March 31, 1958. She was married to her husband, the late Doug Kersey from Dec. 30, 2010 – February 27, 2021. She was a retired teacher for the State of Florida. She loved Dogs, Gardening, Fishing, Swimming and spending time with her late Husband Doug Kersey.
She is survived by her stepchildren: Brandi Kersey and Brandon Parmer, She is also survived by her loving brother Henry Johnson, his wife Tammy Johnson: his son Jonathan Johnson as well as Jonathan’s children: Lennon and Magnolia; also his daughter Kerri and her husband Brandon Maloy and their son Emmerson; and also his step daughters Arielle and Melody Ganey. She is also survived by her loving brother: Billy Johnson and his wife Teresa and their family which includes his son Zachary Johnson and his wife Kirsten and her sons Ian and Noel; his son Stuart Johnson; his son Jared Johnson and his wife Karen; and his daughter Miranda and her husband Riley Taylor.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted by her brothers Henry & Billy Johnson at 1 pm (Central Time), May 25, 2024 at Lovewood Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery located at 1745 Lovewood Road, Cottondale, Florida 32431.
