On the night of May 17, 2024, an officer with the Chipley Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling with a headlight out.
During the stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Neither occupant possessed a medical marijuana card, prompting a probable cause search of the vehicle.
Among the passenger’s belongings, the officer discovered a bag containing a crystal substance, which tested positive for methamphetamine, and two glass smoking devices.
The passenger, identified as Sara Gillman, was arrested and transported to jail.
She is being charged with Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
