On Tuesday, May 21, deputies responded to Rocky Creek Baptist Church in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a shed and trailer on the property had been broken into and several items had been stolen from the church.
Throughout the course of the investigation, a game camera was located near the scene of the burglary, and photos of the suspect were found on the camera. The suspect was identified as Devin Hires.
On Saturday, June 1, Hires was arrested and is being charged with Burglary, Theft, Dealing in Stolen Property, Possession of Burglary Tools and Violation of Probation.
