Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Kendra Dumas, David Melanchuk, and Candice Ward for Methamphetamine, Etc.

On 6/4/24, members of the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) executed a search warrant at 1419 Tate Lane.
 
The warrant was issued due to reports of illegal drug sales occurring at the residence.
 
The occupants, identified as Kendra Dumas, David Melanchuk, and Candice Ward, were secured during the operation.
 
During a search of the residence the following items were located. In Candice Ward’s purse a bag of methamphetamine and a meth pipe were found. In Kendra Dumas’ bedroom over 300 rounds of ammunition and a meth pipe was located. Next to David Melanchuk a box of .380 bullets was found. Both Melanchuk and Dumas are convicted felons.
 
All three individuals were arrested and charged as follows:
 
Kendra Dumas: Possession of ammunition by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
 
Candice Ward: Possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
 
David Melanchuk: Sale of methamphetamine, keeping a drug house, and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
