Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Blake Boles and Rachael Austin for Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Firearms, Etc. Etc.

On June 8, 2024, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputy received a report of a blue Ford pickup throwing a mortar (firework) near Stewart Circle.
 
Deputies located the vehicle driven by Blake Boles. Witnesses confirmed seeing Boles throw the mortar.
 
K9 Paycheck, conducted a free air sniff and alerted to narcotics.
 
A search of the vehicle revealed more fireworks, trafficking amounts of methamphetamine, scales, baggies, fentanyl, and a loaded shotgun. Boles and Austin were arrested and face numerous charges:
 
Blake Boles:
Trafficking in methamphetamine
Possession of fentanyl
Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Possession of a firearm while committing a felony
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Throwing fireworks from a vehicle
 
Rachael Austin:
Trafficking in methamphetamine
Possession of fentanyl
Possession of a firearm while committing a felony
Possession of drug paraphernalia
