Lexie “Bobo” Cook, 69 of Vernon, Florida passed from this life on June 10, 2024 at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, Florida.
Bobo was born on January 28, 1955 in Bonifay, Florida to Cecil and Menola Cook. A lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle, he enjoyed spending time his time outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, or dead head diving for sunken timber.
Bobo previously owned and operated Bo’s Bait Shop in Vernon, Florida. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter: Oaklynn Cook; sisters: Bobbie Jean Haskins, Levone Rose; brother: Quay Cook
He is survived by his two sons: Doug Cook and wife Hali of Blountstown, Florida, Jonathan Cook of Vernon, Florida; sister: Sue Shaw of Vernon, Florida; grandchildren: Hayden Cook, Ethan Gordon Cook, Kelsea Cook, Carsen Drew, and Chason Drew.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
