On June 7, 2024, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputy stopped a vehicle in Bonifay for an equipment violation.
During the stop, Bonifay Police Department K9 Buck conducted a free air sniff, which indicated the presence of illegal narcotics.
A search of the vehicle and the passenger, Lisa Henning’s purse, revealed a small clear baggy containing methamphetamine.
Henning was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
