Charlie Donald Stanley, 67 of Royals Crossroads Community Passes on June 13, 2024

Charlie Donald “Chuck” Stanley of the Royals Crossroads Community passed away at his home on Thursday, June 13, 2024. He was 67 years old.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Rodd Jones officiating.
 
Burial will follow in the Hurricane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
 
Chuck was born in Geneva, AL on January 1, 1957, to the late Perry D and Pauline McCormic Stanley.
Chuck was a devoted husband for 44 years.
His passion for farming, hunting, being outside working on his old farm equipment and his service to our community family and friends was touched by all. He was a graduate of Ponce DeLeon High School, and Troy State University. He served on the Washington County School Board as a transportation director.
 
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Linda Morgan Stanley of the Royals Crossroads Community and a brother-in-law, Billy Ray Morgan of Geneva, AL.
