By | June 18, 2024
On June 15, 2024, deputies responded to a disturbance at 1925 Highway 90.

Brandon Bohannon was reported to have caused significant damage to water lines, the air conditioning unit, and other parts of his family’s home.

Upon arrival, deputies attempted to make contact with Bohannon, who had barricaded himself inside a camper.

Bohannon threatened to harm any deputies who attempted to enter, stating he would “bash their heads in with a spear he was holding”.

Additional deputies were called to the scene in an effort to negotiate Bohannon’s peaceful surrender.

Despite their attempts, Bohannon remained uncooperative, throwing objects at the deputies in an attempt to strike them.

Given the escalating threat, the SWAT team made a forcible entry into the camper and successfully apprehended Bohannon without incident. Inside the camper, a white powdery substance was discovered in plain view, which field-tested positive for methamphetamine.

Brandon Bohannon has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, felony criminal mischief, possession of methamphetamine, and resisting arrest.
