James Eddie Segrest II, age 63, of Bonifay, Florida passed away June 21, 2024, at his home. He was born February 27, 1961, in Donalsonville, Georgia.
Mr. Segrest was preceded in death by his father, James Eddie Segrest I, his wife, Janis Annette Nelson, one brother, Jonathan Andrew ‘Andy’ Segrest, and all four grandparents.
Mr. Segrest is survived by one son, Timothy Nelson and Vicki Denham; one daughter, KaeLeigh Nelson; four grandchildren, Alec Sievert, Brandon Sievert, Edward James ‘EJ’ Mills, and Christian Mills; his mother, Madelyne Segrest Baxter; two brothers, Jack R. Segrest, and John Paul Segrest, and Florence Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Jackson; a special nephew, Brandon Segrest; several nieces and nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
