Randall Lee Thames Jr., age 40, passed away June 20, 2024. He was born June 7, 1984, in Geneva, Alabama. Lee was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ruben Alford, paternal grandmother, Nellie Thames, and paternal grandfather, Robert Thames.
Mr. Thames is survived by one daughter, Tyrah Nevaeh Thames; his mother, Betty Alford Thames; his father, Randall Lee Thames; three sisters, Michelle Morrison, Kasey Doty, and Kelly Thames; one niece, Emma Leigh Land; one nephew, Moses Doty; maternal grandmother, Clora Alford; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2024, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Memorialization by cremation will follow with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 PM Monday at Peel Funeral Home.
