Edna Ann Messer, age 83, of Bonifay, Florida passed away June 26, 2024, after an extended illness at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 18, 1940, in Holly, Michigan to the late Albert Parks and Alberta Ballard Parks. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Messer was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Spear and Ester Johnson and one brother, Glen Parks.
Mrs. Messer is survived by her husband of 66 years, Paul Messer of Bonifay, FL; three children, Twena Moseley and husband Claude of Bonifay, FL, Kemmie Messer and wife Roxann of Graceville, FL, and Peggy White and husband Rusty of Bonifay, FL; ten grandchildren, Jared Moseley, Travis Moseley, Jameson Messer, Evan Messer, Seth Messer, Anthony White, Cassie White, Corri Grecco, Levi White, and Solon White; 27 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Smith and husband Don of Chesney, MI; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2024, at New Smyrna Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in the New Smyrna Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at New Smyrna Assembly of God Church.
