On Wednesday, June 26, around 3:30 p.m., Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were attempting to serve a felony warrant from Washington County on James Gordon Douglas when he fled.
Patrol Deputies, the K9 Tracking Unit and Drone Unit were called to the scene to attempt to locate him.
Within 40 minutes, the K9 Tracking Unit was deployed and immediately established a track. At approximately 4:50 p.m., Douglas was located and arrested.
Douglas will be transported back to Washington County to face charges.
