Myrtle Louise Harrell Davis, age 92, of Caryville, Florida passed away June 27, 2024, at her home. She was born October 10, 1931, in Washington County, Hinson Crossroads, Florida to the late William Alto Harrell and O.D. Brock Harrell.
In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Josh Junior ‘Pat’ David, two sons, Patrick Elton Davis and Charles Franklin Davis, and one granddaughter.
Ms. Davis is survived by one daughter, Jean Murray of Caryville, FL; three grandchildren, Jeana Prescott and husband Keith, Michael Davis and wife, Lisa and William Spence; six great-grandchildren, Tiffanie Nicole Davis, Joshua Aaron Davis, Victory Spence, Vera Spence, Vada Spence, and William Spence; two great-great-grandchildren, Colby Spence and Levi Spence; daughter-in-law, Vicki Davis.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2024, at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12 to 1 PM at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.
